I will be delivering a speech about destructive cults, mind control, and
$cientology, on Wednesday, November 8, at 7 P.M., in Yonkers, NY. The
program is being sponsored by the New York Area Skeptics (NYASK),
an organization devoted to "promoting rational thinking and scientific
literacy." I will follow my usual format: open with a definition of a
destructive cult, discuss the different types of cults, describe the
recruiting process, explain the mind control techniques, and then finish
off by telling the story of my experience in $cientology. The lecture is
open to the public and is free of charge.
