From: John Opsopaus <72747.154@COMPUSERVE.COM>Subject: Graeco-Roman LBRP I would appreciate comments on the following, which is anadaptation of the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram to theGraeco-Roman Tradition. In the first place, I've replaced the JewishGod names and Archangel names by the names of Graeco-Roman Deities. In doing this I've tried to maintain rank and elementalassociations, but I would welcome criticism, especially fromCabalists and Ceremonial Magicians. Second, since I find jarringthe combination of Graeco-Roman Deities and Hebrew words, I'vetranslated the Cabalistic Cross and the rest of the Ritual intoLatin. For those ignorant of Hebrew, such as myself, the Latin maybe more immediately comprehensible. (Of course, you can also do itin English!) Criticism/correction of my Latin composition will alsobe appreciated. The Ritual follows in summary form with comments; at a laterdate I'll post the final version. If anyone knows of a similaradaptation, please let me know.Gratias vobis ago,John Opsopaus72747.154@compuserve.com------------------------------------------------------------------ RITUS EXPELLENS MINOR PENTAGRAMMOU The Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram Adapted to the Graeco-Roman Tradition By John OpsopausCABALISTIC CROSS:Forehead: "Vobis" [Yours (are)]Belly: "Regnum" [the Kingdom]Right shoulder: "et Potestas" [and the Power]Left shoulder: "et Gloria" [and the Glory]Heart: "In aeternum.
