We should not wear any clothes.
It is described in Genesis that Adam and Eve did not wear anything
before they ate the apple. God created them that way, and that (they
being naked) was what God likes. It was after they ate the apple
that they started to feel shy and started to wear clothes, and this
made God very unhappy. Wearing clothes and feeling shy were the two
sins they first committed after eating the apple.
So if we really want to repent of our original sin, we all should
behave in the way God created us originally; we should not commit any
sin any longer. The first thing we should do is to take off all our
clothes immediately, with no shame, since that's the way God likes.
(We should not wear anything in anywhere, whenever it's not too cold; I
suppose the weather was good in Eden, or Adam and Eve could undergo any
weather.) We should do this to undo Adam and Eve's sin. I don't
understand why no monks do so; I think they want to repent of their
sins most sincerely. In addition, when we bury a person after he dies,
we should place him in the coffin in nude. I don't think God will be
happy to see a guy coming to him with clothes on.
This is only from my understanding of Genesis. How do you think?
(BTW, don't misunderstand that I am not shy. I am.)
