REFUSE TO CLASSIFY ATTACK AS A HATE CRIME NATIONAL AND LOCAL MEDIA
FAIL TO REPORT INCIDENT
The home of Dee DeBerry, a lesbian activist and outspoken PWA (Person
With AIDS) was firebombed and destroyed after she and other lesbian
PWAs met with Donna Shalala, Secretary of Health and Human Services,
in Washington. Her home was firebombed on Saturday April 24, 1993,
after she received five threatening phone calls warning her that she
would be killed and her house would be burned down should she go to
the D.C. march.
Thousands of lesbinas will converge on Tampa June 12-14, 1993 in
The City of Tampa, like the State of Colorado, voted to overturn
Lesbian and Gay Rights Legislation. This is the result. The RIGHT
