Using PacketSorter ----------------------- You are allowed to use the PacketSorter executable (PKTSORT.EXE) for testing if it is of value to you. You must not use the PacketSorter executable for more than 30 days without registering. After a period of 30 days of using the PacketSorter executable you must either stop using it or register. Using PacketSorter v1.4 for longer than 30 days without registering is illegal. See the document ORDER.FRM on how to register. You are allowed to link a new PacketSorter executable and reverse engineer and debug the linked PacketSorter executable only for your own use. You must not distribute the PacketSorter executable you come up with. II. Copying PacketSorter ------------------------- You are allowed to copy and distribute the PacketSorter distribution archives (PSRT_14.ZIP) as you receive it in unmodified form. You must not distribute the contents of the distribution archives which are copyrighted by Rolf K. Wilms in another form than the original distribution archives PSRT_14.ZIP. III. Copying and using free software ------------------------------------ The PacketSorter distribution archives also contains portions which are not copyrighted by Rolf K. Wilms but are free software of other copyright holders. The sections I and II of this document do not apply to that software. The use of that software is free but copying and distributing is restricted. Refer to the conditions pointed to below if you want to copy or distribute that software separately. Copying and distributing that software in the unmodified PacketSorter distribution archives is OK. The PacketSorter executable is linked with the library libg++ which is copyrighted by the Free Software Foundation. See copying.lib for details. Obtaining free software and the PacketSorter distribution archives ----------------------------------------------------------------------- You can get the PacketSorter distribution archives (PSRT_14.ZIP) from the APOLONIA BBS. APOLONIA BBS offers download via public modem ports. You may log in as a user using a terminal program and you can also use a FidoNet filerequest to obtain the files. You can also obtain the EMX package and the RSX package from APOLONIA BBS. The files making up the EMX and RSX packages are the same as those mentioned below at the FTP-sites. The EMX package also contains the sources of the library libg++ the PacketSorter executable is linked with (gppsrc.zip).
